Introduction:
Dynamic Lock which is a new feature that is easy to use is available now with Windows 10 Creators Update. It uses a Bluetooth connection between your phone and your PC to automatically lock your PC.
This new feature called Dynamic Lock can automatically lock your PC when your Bluetooth phone is out of range.
Steps to follow:
In this article, we will see how to lock your computer using this feature.
Step 1: To pair your phone
Before activating Dynamic Lock, you must first pair your phone with your PC. You can skip to step 2 if you have already done so.
1. On your PC, go to Settings> Devices> Bluetooth.
2. Activate Bluetooth by toggling the Bluetooth tab to "enable". (Turn on the Bluetooth of your phone too).
3. Then press the "+" button to Add Bluetooth or other device.
4. In the Add Device pop-up window, click Bluetooth and then choose your device from the list that appears.
5. Click Connect, as long as the PINs match the two devices.
6. Click Done.
Step 2: Enable Dynamic Lock
With your pc and phone paired:
1. Go to Settings> Accounts and click the login options in the left pane.
2. Click the check box in the Dynamic Lock section to display a checkmark. (You may have to move down to find it.)
3. Scroll to the Dynamic Lockout section and select the check box to allow Windows to detect when you automatically moveand lock the device.
