Do you wish to upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Professional? In this article we will show you how to upgrade from Windows 10 Home to the Pro version in very simple steps.

Difference Between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro

The Windows 10 Home Edition is designed for home users and is perfect for most users who do not need the advanced security and management features available in the Pro Edition. Pro Edition offers advanced features such as BitLocker, Group Policy, Domain Join, Remote Desktop, Hyper-V, and Azure Active Directory.

Can I upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro for free?

Although you can upgrade an unsupported Windows 10 Home Edition installation to Pro Edition however afterwards you must activate Windows 10 Pro after the initial 30-day trial period.
The upgrade from Windows 10 Home Edition to Windows 10 Professional Edition is not free. In other words, even if you have an activated copy of Windows 10 Home Edition, you must purchase the upgrade license and enable the installation before or after upgrading to Pro Edition.

Steps to follow

Here's how to go from the Windows 10 Home edition to the Pro edition with just a few mouse clicks.
1. Open the Settings app by clicking the Settings icon on the left side of the Start menu or using the Windows + I keyboard shortcut buttons.

2. When the Settings application is launched, click Update and Security.
