Introduction

Would you like to change the annoying picture that Windows 10 added automatically to your user account? For each newly created user account, Windows chooses a generic image.
When you link your Microsoft account to your computer, Windows 10 automatically synchronizes your profile image as an account image.

If you do not want to use the image of your Microsoft account profile as an account image, you can use one of the methods below to edit the image.
You can take a picture with your computer's webcam or choose a picture in your Pictures folder.

Steps to follow

To change the image of your user account, read about it in this article
1. Click on your Start menu.
2. Click the icon for your user profile. This is on the left side of the Start menu.

3. Right click on your profile icon, then select Change Account Settings

4. You can also access it by clicking on "Settings >> Accounts >> Your Information".

5. If you want to put an already existing picture, click on "Browse for one".

6. The “Open File” dialog box will be displayed. Find and select an image saved in a location on your disk. Windows allows each user to choose an account image.
7. Validate your choice by clicking Choose an image.
8. If you prefer to take a new picture, select Camera
9. Wait for the Camera application to open, then click on the big white camera button on the right side of the window.
10. Save the photo. By clicking on the button ✓ Done on the right.
