Introduction


Unlike most other operating systems, Windows does not include a natively integrated application for PDF printing. However, PDF printing is still quite simple - you can quickly install a free PDF printer or use the option included in various programs.
"Print" as PDF simply means saving a document in a PDF file rather than on a physical sheet of paper. Printing on a PDF is usually much faster than using a PDF conversion tool, and is useful not only for saving an offline web page, but also for sharing documents in a PDF file format.
The difference between a PDF printer and a PDF converter is that the PDF printer appears as a printer and is listed with the other printers installed.
When it's time to print, simply choose the PDF Printer option instead of a regular printer, and a new PDF will be created that is a replica of what you print.

The Microsoft Print to PDF feature is integrated by default in Windows 10, if you cannot find the PDF printer configured, there are two possible ways to enable it, here's how:

Steps to print to PDF

First Method:

1. In the search bar, type "Turn Windows features on or Off".

2. Select “Microsoft Print to PDF

3. Click Ok then restart your computer

Second method: Check the advanced configuration of the printer.

1. Type in the search bar “printers and scanners” then click enter

2. When the different options are displayed, select the "Microsoft Print to PDF" option and follow the instructions given to complete the printer setup.
