Introduction

If you want to receive Outlook e-mail on a Gmail or other e-mail account, you can configure a mail redirection rule that will forward your e-mail messages to this alternate account.
Technically, redirection and message transfer are different actions: the transferred messages appear as messages you send (that is, from your own e-mail address), while redirected messages appear as coming from the original sender.
Here's an easy tutorial to help you set up automatic forwarding on Outlook 2013, Outlook 2016, and Outlook 2010 so you can send your important messages to the inbox of your choice.

The steps to configure the automatic transfer of Outlook messages

1. Select "File"> "Rules and Alerts".

2. In the "Email Rules" tab, choose "New Rule ...".

3. Under "Start from a blank rule", select "Apply rule on messages I receive" and click "Next".

4. If you only want to forward certain messages, you can select conditions for each forwarded message.

5. If you want all your messages to be forwarded, leave everything unchecked. You will receive a message saying "This rule will be applied to every message you have received. Is this correct?" Select "Yes".

6. Select "Forward it to people or Public Group" for messages that meet the condition.

10. Create exceptions to filter messages that are not important. For example, if an email contains the word "Promotion" or "Advertisement" in the subject line, you can choose not to transfer it. You can choose to skip this step.

11. Click Next when you finish.

12. Name your rule and make sure your settings are correct. You can choose to apply the rule to existing messages in your inbox to forward all existing emails from your chosen group to your email address. If everything is in order, click Finish.

13. Click OK in the Rules and Settings window to apply your new rule.

Congrats all is done! The messages you have selected will be sent to the email address you have designated.

Because messages are all forwarded, the listed sender will always be your email address linked to this inbox rather than directly from the original sender.
