Windows 10 includes an application that all Windows users can use it. It is easy to understand and it is used in a work environment.

Over time, and with the installation of several desktop programs, Windows PCs tend to start more slowly. Many applications start automatically at the start-up of your computer. The new boot manager helps you reduce tasks and speed up Windows 10 start-up.

Steps to speed up Windows 10 start-up

Access to the Windows 10 Boot Manager

You will discover this feature in Task Manager.

1. To open it, right-click on the taskbar

2. Next, select Task Manager.

You can also press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager directly, or press Ctrl + Alt + Del and activate Task Manager.

The task manager displays a list of the open programs, so you will need to click on "More details" after opening it.

3. Tap the Start-up tab after accessing the complete Task Manager interface.

4. Check programs that start at system start-up and disable programs that you do not use every day.

The basic rule with start-up programs is simple. If the program is not used every day, disable it. If the program is not for a hardware component such as a keyboard or printer, disable it.

Third-party software such as CCleaner also has a boot configuration option that speeds up Windows 10 start-up. Open CCleaner and go to Tools> Start-up. This feature will also allow you to enable or disable various start-up programs.

Disabling applications in the background

To finish optimizing your start-up, make sure to disable the background applications on Windows 10.

You can access these settings in your privacy window.
1. Press the Windows key + I to launch the Settings application
2. Next, go to Privacy> Background Applications (all at the bottom).
3. Disable all these applications except your settings.
