Introduction
By default, the Quick Access Toolbar, located above the ribbon, contains the Save, Undo, and Redo buttons. If you frequently use an Excel command, you can add it to the Quick Access Toolbar.
You can even add commands to the Quick Access Toolbar that are not in the ribbon. There are several commands available as predefined or built-in options.
Steps to Customize the Quick Access Toolbar
In this article, we will show you how to customize the Quick Access Toolbar in Excel and add commands to this bar. This procedure is applicable for Excel 2010, Excel 2013 and Excel 2016
1. Right-click anywhere on the ribbon, and then click Customize Quick Access Toolbar.
2. Under Choose Orders in the following categories, select Commands not in the Ribbon.
3. Select the desired command from the list, then click Add.
Note: By default, Excel customizes the Quick Access Toolbar for all documents. Under Customize Quick Access Toolbar, select the current saved workbook to customize only the Quick Access Toolbar for this workbook.
4. Click OK.
5. To remove a command from the Quick Access Toolbar, right-click the command, and then click Remove on the Quick Access Toolbar.

6. Finally, click OK to save the changes.
