Introduction
Microsoft has released a new energy saving option that they were working on. This is a new feature, which should improve the battery life of the laptop and tablets on the processors that support it.
The power options in Windows allow you to adjust the power management settings, including the sleep settings, the behaviour of the computer when the computer goes into battery for laptops.
These power options are therefore relatively important to manage its energies and optimize the management of the battery.
Enable / Disable power limitation
You can also use the Classic Power Options applet.
1. Open Settings.
2. Go to System - Power and Sleep.
3. On the right, click the Additional Power Settings link.
4. The following dialog window will open. Select the high performance power plan.
It is possible to prevent Windows 10 from managing processor resources for a specific application. Here's how it can be done.
In Settings,
1. Open System
2. Then click Battery Saver. On the right, click on the text "battery usage by application”
3. Click Change application settings in the background.
4. Find and disable permissions for applications that you do not want to allow to run on their own in the background.
5. Close the settings window
