Introduction
If you wish to retrieve and use the list of your Outlook or Hotmail contacts from your Outlook / Hotmail / Live / MSN mailbox, without any contact, this is possible.
To move contacts from your Outlook.com account (formerly known as Hotmail, Live, and MSN) to another account, it is possible to export them to a CSV file. You can then import the file into your Permanent Contact account.

Step 1 Save Contacts from an Outlook / Hotmail / Live / MSN Account
1. On the left pane of the old Outlook mail account, click Contacts.
2. Next, click the Manage menu, and then click Export (All Contacts).
3. Save the CSV file on the PC.
Step 2 Import an Address Book to an Outlook / Hotmail Account
1. On the new Outlook or Hotmail mail account, click People on the left pane, then Manage >> Import Contacts.
2. A contact import wizard proposes to find your addresses from Facebook, Twitter, Google (Gmail), Linkedin, but not Outlook. Choose the "Import from a file" option.
3. Check the "Microsoft Outlook (with CSV)" service, then load the previously saved CSV file and confirm with "Import contacts".
4. The import will take a few seconds, then a message confirms the success of the operation will be displayed by the end of the import.
