A timeline is a representation of information that can be used in history, paleontology and any other study that requires the visualization of sequential elements. It usually represents an horizontal line with time segments. Each segment can have its own sub-elements.
Timeline feature is a great way to present data in a clear and easy to understand way.
In this article, we will show you how to create a professional timeline in PowerPoint presentation.

How to add professional timelines to your PowerPoint presentation
1. Click here to download the add-in.
2. Next, click Start to create a timeline, then click Try it for free to download.
3. You will need to install the add-in, follow the instructions. When the installation is complete, PowerPoint will open and you can start using the timeline function.
4. Click the Office Timeline tab of the Ribbon to open the Timeline controls. With the free version, we have a slightly limited feature set compared to the paid version, but you can still create a good calendar with the tools included in the free version.
5. Click New >> New Timeline to start a new mount, and then the editor will be displayed. You will see that some models are included in the paid version, but you can select one of the free options at the moment.
6. Next, add milestones to the timeline. Just enter your items and click on the + icon to add more.
7. Then you can add tasks to your edit. You can specify dates for tasks after you have named them.
8. Once you are done, your calendar will be added to your PowerPoint presentation.
