Introduction

If the ordinary look of the Windows 10 user interface has bothered you, you can change the theme and refresh it. Since the release of the Anniversary update, Microsoft has included the ability to switch to the Dark (Dark) mode available to all users.

The black theme will apply to all elements of Windows 10 but according to our experience, you will see it mainly in the Settings interface. Switching to Dark mode is extremely easy, requiring only a few clicks of the mouse. Once you switch to Dark Mode, you'll be able to turn on white mode anytime in case you do not like the new look.

Switch to Dark Mode

Step 1: Access the Settings. You can type it in the Windows search bar or click on the gear icon in the Start menu.

Step 2: Click Personalisation.

Step 3: When the window opens, click Colours on the left pane of the window.

Step 4: Scroll down the first section and look for an option that says, "Choose your default application mode."

Here you will have two options: Light and Dark.

Step 5: Click on Dark

That's all! Your Windows should now be black, however, your background will remain largely the same.
