How to Run an ISO file in Windows without Burning it Using Virtual CloneDrive

 Introduction

 Steps to follow

 Introduction

The ISO file is a disk image in the form of a single file that gives a disc which conforms to the original by burning it to a CD / DVD. If you have an ISO file, but you do not have a CD / DVD / USB drive to burn, you can open your ISO file using virtualization software from the CD player such as Virtual CloneDrive. Virtual CloneDrive works and behaves exactly like a physical CD / DVD drive. ISO files can be mounted in a virtual drive and used in the same way as if they had been inserted into a normal CD / DVD drive.

Steps to follow

• Download the ISO file.

• Download and install Virtual CloneDrive using this link:

https://virtual-clonedrive.en.softonic.com/

• Launch Virtual CloneDrive from the icon that appears on your desktop.

• Specify the number of virtual drives you want: it is recommended to choose 1.

• Then go to the system notification area at the bottom right of the desktop. Right click on the Virtual CloneDrive icon.

Select the virtual drive (here, E:) and click on Mount.

• select the disk image.

 • The execution is automatic and the actions you can perform are immediately proposed.
