 Introduction

 Whether you're using Chrome or Firefox, when you insert text in your browser's address bar, the browser remembers the sites you've already visited on your history and displays a drop-down list of previously visited sites. However, we would sometimes like to protect our privacy while keeping some addresses already visited discrete: hellodoctor.com etc ... This becomes particularly problematic since the browser does not distinguish between professional life and private life!

 Here's how to do it with Google Chrome and Firefox!

1. At the address bar, type the text that causes the suggestion to be erased to appear.

 2. Move your mouse cursor in the list of suggestions to the URL you want to delete (without clicking).

3. Press the Shift and Delete (or Shift and Del) keys simultaneously to delete the highlighted item. NB: If you are a MAC user, we recommend instead to use

 1. Enter the theme of your search.

 2. Scroll through the list of suggestions using the keys and set your cursor to the targeted URL.

3. Press the Delete key. This address will no longer appear in the list of proposals in your browser.
