Game mode is a term coined by Microsoft for computer gamers. This mode helps users to use the maximum amount of system resources for the player to get a better user experience. To get rid of unwanted delay, missing frame rate, etc., this mode was introduced in Windows 10 V1703 or Creators Update.
After activating Game Mode, your computer will use most of the CPU and GPU power to play the game. Unwanted and non-priority background processes will be stopped automatically. Unwanted background processes include random antivirus scans, and so on.
- Unfortunately, there is no option for a user to stop or execute a particular background process while having the Game Mode enabled.
