Introduction

The update for Windows enables you to receive new features to correct "some" bugs and close security loopholes inherent in your operating system.

Microsoft Update is the online extension of Windows that allows you to keep your computer up-to-date.

This is a feature that allows users to postpone or suspend updates to Windows 10 so that the update does not cause problems on your PC.

In this article, we will see how to control the updates to Windows 10.

Schedule Windows restart

You can schedule the update of your system by accessing the Windows settings.

Then you click update and security and you click edit activity hours.

Change the source of updates

It is possible to take advantage of the PCs of the local network to carry out the update if you do not have an internet connection to download updates via the Microsoft servers.

Just go to the Update and Security tool and click Windows Update > Advanced Options.

Focus on the Choose how to download updates section and set the slider to on, then click PC on my local network, and PC over the Internet.
