Introduction

A system image is an exact copy of a drive that can be used if your hard drive or computer crashes.
Creating a system image allows us to back up both our data, our programs and all the settings defined since the installation of Windows.
The copied files can then be saved to another media such as USB key, CD / DVD, etc.

•Go to Control Panel > System and Security> File History > System Image Backup

•Click on «System Image Backup" located on the right and bottom of the window.

•Click on create a system image

•You can choose to store the system image on a hard disk, on one or more DVDs, or on a network share.

•Choose the hard drive, then the drive you want to include in the backup and click Next.

•Click Start Backup to start creating your system image. The duration of creating the system image depends on the size of your partitions.
