Windows 10 is currently the version shipped with most machines.

However, there are many Windows 10 editions such as Windows 10 Education, Windows 10 business, Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.

There are no major differences between the 4 versions. Indeed, the operation of the system is identical, only a few network and security functions differ from one version to another.

In this article, we will see the difference between Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro.

The differences are really small and unnoticed. They only concern Network functions.

You will find below the different functions available with Windows 10 Pro  and not available with Windows 10 Home :

 

o  BitLocker: BitLocker is a hard disk encryption software that protects personal data, which is required in a professional environment to increase the level of security of personal data.

a password is required to access the encrypted data if you connect your disk to another machine.

o Group Policy: This is a feature that allows you to manage computers and users in an Active Directory environment. This is essential for the management of a large computer park.

o     Remote Desktop   ( Remote Desktop): it allows to connect and take control of a Windows machine remotely.

o     Hyper-V Client: This is a virtualization system that allows you to run multiple operating systems on a computer.

o     Windows Update: it is a software that allows managing the Windows updates.
