Introduction:

Windows 10 uses the title bars of the default white window. This is a big change from Windows 8, which allowed you to choose any color. But you can give color to these title bars with this quick trick.

If you do not like the white title bar in Windows 10, we'll show you how to change the color of the active and inactive title bar in Windows 10.

How to change the color of the active and inactive title bar in Windows 10
Change the color of the active title bar in Windows 10.  Click HERE to purchase your Windows 10 license key.

Steps to follow

1. Right-click an empty space on the desktop, select Customize from the shortcut menu.

2. When the Settings window opens, click Colors on the left side.

3. On the right side, choose an accent color and enable the " Show color on title bar " setting.

When done, Windows 10 will display your selected color for the title bar of any active window. But the idle title bar stays white as usual.

Changing the color of the inactive title bar in Windows 10

Unfortunately, there is no option to change the color of the inactive title bar in the Settings application, and you must change it using this registry hack:

1. Press the Windows + R key to open the Run command box. Type Regedit and press Enter.

2. With the registry editor open, go to the following key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsDWM

3. Right-click the DWM key on the left side, select New -> DWORD Value (32-bit) from the context menu.

4. Name the new DWORD value AccentColorInactive. Then double-click AccentColorInactive on the right side. In the pop-up window, type the RGB value for the color of your choice under the Value data box and click OK. You may need to look for the RGB value of your favorite color.

5. Close the Registry Editor. You have successfully changed the color of the title bar for the idle Window.
