How to Upgrade From Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Professional
Introduction:
Actually, Windows 10 setup automatically detects the edition type of previously installed Windows version in your computer and then it installs the corresponding edition of Windows 10. For example, if you had Windows 7 Home or Windows 8/8.1 core edition installed in your computer previously, Windows 10 setup will automatically install Windows 10 core (Home) edition in your computer.
One more thing! If your computer originally came with core or home edition of Windows 7/8/8.1 and you forcefully upgraded it to Windows 10 Pro edition when Windows 10 RTM released and now you try to clean install Windows 10 newer version, it'll still install Windows 10 core (Home) edition as it'll detect the product key stored in BIOS which is obviously associated with core or home edition of previous Windows version.
Steps to follow:
Please download the compatible ISO file with your version of Windows ( 32 bits / 64bits) from the link we sent you.
Then, we recommend you to burn the file into a virgin DVD or to use a bootable USB drive.
P.S. you should avoid launching the installation from the file of setup.exe.
- Please make sure That the ISO file has been successfully downloaded, and booted from the USB drive.
After burning the ISO file onto a DVD, please insert it, then Change the order of starting up in the starting up the menu by following these steps:
1-Switch on your computer and When the logo first appears on the screen, keep pressing the F12 / F2 button multiple times (this differs from one computer to another ) until you reach the menu of starting up.
2-Use the directional ARROW buttons TOP or LOW to select the option from which you want to load the operating system, and then press ENTER to confirm.
During the installation, choose The clean installation option and not the upgrade one to format the disk. Select Windows 10 Pro and continue the installation.
