To create a local user account on Windows 10 the system offers us to use our Microsoft account information or to create a Microsoft email address. But this is not necessarily what we want to do. In some cases we want to create a Windows 10 user account for our children who do not have an e-mail address or simply by personal choice. So we'll see in this article a little trick that will allow you to create a local user account on Windows 10 without having to use or create a Microsoft account.

1- Click on the « start » menu then on « settings ».

2- In settings click on « accounts » which allows you to create and edit your accounts.

3- Click on « family and other users ».

4- To add another user click on « Add someone else to this PC ».

5- If you do not want to use a Microsoft account click on « I don’t have this person’s sign in information »

6- The system will ask you if you want to create a user account with an e-mail address that can be Outlook or One Drive, if it is not what you want, click « Add a user without a Microsoft Account ».

7- You can now enter the account information that will only be visible on this computer.

8- Congratulations! There you have created a new user account that you can edit later and even switch it to an administrator for example.
