Windows mail application is an application that replaces Windows Live Mail, so it can retrieve messages from your different email accounts (Outlook, Hotmail, Orange, SFR, Yahoo, Gmail ...) within a simple interface as well as adapted to the mouse and to the touch screen.
Thus, the Mail application has all the features to replace your current mail and simplify the management of your emails. It is also easy to configure and manage. So we will show you in this article how to set up an email account with the Windows 10 integrated mail application.
Set up your e-mail with the Windows 10 mail application
Here are the steps to set up and manage your unified inbox:
1- Open the Mail application that is installed by default in Windows 10 by clicking the Windows icon on the taskbar.
2- You will be prompted to add a mailbox.
If you already use a Microsoft account to log in under Windows 10, it will be offered directly. If you have other email accounts, you can configure them by clicking "Add Account" in addition to your Microsoft account.

3- In the dialog box that appears, select the account type: Microsoft, Outlook, Google, Yahoo, iCloud ...
I chose to set up a Hotmail address, but if your account is not listed, for an email account of an Internet service provider (Orange, Free, SFR, Bouygues, ...) select other account (POP, IMAP) option.
4- Fill in the login credentials for your account then click "Sign In". The settings will be detected automatically.
5- If you have already set up a first account, you can add more by clicking on the "Accounts" button at the top left.
6- Then click on add an account
Here you have finally created your universal inbox.
