Introduction:
Microsoft Security Scanner is a clean-up tool designed to find and remove malware on Windows PCs. This program is able to eliminate viruses detected on demand and is used on a one-time basis, i.e. it only scans when triggered manually and is available for use 10 days after being downloaded. Just download the latest version of this tool before each scan and run a scan to find malware and make the necessary clean-up.

Steps to follow:
1. Download this tool from this link
2. Execute the tool by clicking on the executable and following the standard installation steps.
3. Select the scan type you want to run and start scanning.
4. Review the analysis results displayed on the screen. The tool lists all known malware.
5. If the tool detects unwanted software, select the Delete check box, and then click Next.
6. Check the unwanted software and click OK.
7. After you finish removing unwanted software, click Finish.
8. To remove this tool, delete the executable file (msert.exe by default).
